this city is mine

On January 31 I posted a thought called “Taron’s secret”, where I expressed my anger and astonishment with the decision to move boutiques from Abovyan str. to the heart of the city, i.e. to Mashtots avenue. I finished that thought with the guess, either forces behind those boutiques are stronger than our current mayor, or our mayor is a genius.

Since I haven’t seen any prove of the second, especially after irresponsible city management related to the snow and traffic issues, my opinion is – our mayor can not influence any decision related to boutiques’ removal. Rumors say ex-mayor, Karen Karapetyan left his post because of this conflict too. My sources say those boutiques belong to the family of another ex-mayor, Gagik Beglaryan. Obviously, the current mayor won’t disturb his ex-boss.

Since I published my post the topic became really hot. Artists and people of cultural circles joined the group of protesters. A 24/7 monitoring of the site is organized. The construction is indeed ugly, dangerous, in a wrong place, clearly anti-human, as it is right near the hospital, anti-city and anti-country.

Whoever solves this conflict is destined to become a “public hero”. At least for some time. Who is smart enough to become a public hero right before parliamentary elections?

Gagik Beglaryan huh? Why don’t the protestors talk about this guy? Why don’t they embarrass him? They really should put his ass on blast!! I also heard that these bullshit domiks sell Turkish products. Is that right?

I can confirm they sell Turkish products.

The story with Gagik Beglaryan is very complicated. They made him resign, now the danger is they’ll take his family’s assets from him. Meanwhile, he is still respected in Republican party, he still has power and authority within certain circles in the city (obviously, not people of art and culture).

Now, you know our president is a chess lover. So, to take these boutiques away he needs to offer something instead. An MP post? So it’s a dilemma.

Now, why protesters do not talk about this guy? I think because it doesn’t matter. Protesters demand a “no-construction” promise in the park from municipality. They want to save the park from every potential “conqueror”. No matter who that conqueror is.

The protestors do need to talk about Gagik. They need to embarrass his ass. Can you imagine if he wins and keeps these ugly trash bins, Turkey actually ends up a winner. I mean can you imagine that? The citizens of Armenia basically end up losing to Turkish products.

Which douche bag Armenian is buying these Turkish products. Who’s importing them? Who’s selling them? Wow man, this story is just ethically and morally so wrong. I don’t think I’ve ever been this fumed about the law being broken in Armenia. I mean we see and hear so many stories, but this, this goes to a whole new level. There are boutiques being built in one of the only green parks in Yerevan, against the will of the citizens to sell Turkish products. WTF!?!?!?!?

Armeniadotim, you don’t understand how pissed I am, because this is what is so wrong with Armenia.

      My dear friend,

      I totally understand you.

But you know, you apply to a hungry and illiterate mass. They are too zombified to distinguish good from bad. They are too brainwashed to think about patriotism. You need to feed and educate them first, I know it’s ugly, but they think about food first, just like animals.

Do you know what is the most effective way to stop the expansion of products and services of a bad quality and lower prices to Armenia? And I don’t mean only Turkish products.

It’s creating an enabling environment in Armenia, so Armenia could produce or import goods of a better quality and more affordable. It’s creating buying power and middle class in Armenia so they can distinguish products to buy. Creating modern and affordable resorts in Armenia, so people do not go to Turkey for holidays.

After feeding them first, you need to educate your people so they at least can read the labels on the products.

Where would you start if you have zombified and hungry people? Would you start with explaining what motherland is and what values are? You and I would understand it, but not all.

Hungry? Come on man. These guys are living very well off. The only reason they commit these illegal activities is because they know they can get away with it. I mean you look at their face and it wreaks of crime.

For instance, take the illegal MP voting that occurred not to long ago. MP’s were caught on camera voting for there absent colleagues. And guess what, no one is being punished for it. How can you call these people hungry when they are stealing from the hungry?

I don’t know if you remember my comments about the people being sheep. You suggested that we need someone to lead them. I hope someone can lead my people to revolt against these animals. Last time a fellow animal (LTP) tried to lead them, but we saw what happened to him, his true colors came out.

The people should not fear these oligarchs, these politicians, or these rich bastards. There are a few Armenians that I’ve seen stand up to corruption in Armenia. It’s possible, but you must stop being sheep!
