can’t believe

I can’t believe an idiot and mediocre actor like Ashton Kutcher was considered to play Steve Jobs. What’s wrong with the director(s)?

I can bet people who agreed to this never knew Jobs and didn’t even read his biography.

Kutcher misses so many things, but most of all, creativity, passion, taste and life in his eyes. You can’t play it.

A douche like Ashton can’t play the man who changed this world. Be serious.

Steve and Mr. President

An amazing excerpt from Steve Jobs biography about his meeting with president Obama. It appears he was not keen to meet the president and it took his wife and his son some efforts to make him change his mind.

They say Steve was bold, not sweetening his words, but I think he was simply sincere. He said whatever he said because he cared.

You can imagine how hard it is for the president of the United States to listen to the opinion of the world’s most valuable company’s CEO who says that it is actually better in China. Just think of this, No. 1 CEO of No. 1 company in the world says to the president of No. 1 country in the world that it is better in China.

I hope Obama learned some lessons out of that meeting. He can hardly have an equally sincere friend around him in close future.

the times they are a-changin’

The words of this song were used by Steve Jobs for opening speech at first Macintosh presentation in 1984. Till the end of his days he stood a dedicated fun of Dylan.

Come gather ’round people
Wherever you roam
And admit that the waters
Around you have grown
And accept it that soon
You’ll be drenched to the bone
If your time to you is worth savin’
Then you better start swimmin’ or you’ll sink like a stone
For the times they are a-changin’

Come writers and critics
Who prophesize with your pen
And keep your eyes wide
The chance won’t come again
And don’t speak too soon
For the wheel’s still in spin
And there’s no tellin’ who that it’s namin’
For the loser now will be later to win
For the times they are a-changin’

Come senators, congressmen
Please heed the call
Don’t stand in the doorway
Don’t block up the hall
For he that gets hurt
Will be he who has stalled
There’s a battle outside and it is ragin’
It’ll soon shake your windows and rattle your walls
For the times they are a-changin’

Come mothers and fathers
Throughout the land
And don’t criticize
What you can’t understand
Your sons and your daughters
Are beyond your command
Your old road is rapidly agin’
Please get out of the new one if you can’t lend your hand
For the times they are a-changin’

The line it is drawn
The curse it is cast
The slow one now
Will later be fast
As the present now
Will later be past
The order is rapidly fadin’
And the first one now will later be last
For the times they are a-changin’
